They CANNOT let it end like that. There is so much more to discover and know! Hopefully we'll see a second season before too long. I personally hope to see it before this year ends, but perhaps that's being too optimistic. I'm thinking they'll continue it because it seems to have had some decent success; They're making a game out of it. If that goes well, who knows?

Honestly, to end Spice and Wolf at that when Horo didn't even reach her hometown yet is extremely unlikely. It's possible that the companies will probably change to supervise the creation for the next season or so, but to just leave it there hanging with a completely open ending is almost impossible.

Yeah, they wouldn't end it like that. they set the basis of the show up as her journey back to the north, so as long as it's successful, they won't end it till they get there.

P.S: they're making a video game out of it? really? well, capitalize off of anything and everything, i suppose.

Yes, they are making a game. Hmff. Need to learn and master Japanese before it comes out...might be difficult.

That's something I'm aiming for too. The only problem is that I need to buy books (still...). And, school isn't over yet, my final exams are still in about 2-3 weeks, so it's going to be a long wait.

Speaking of exams, I might not be able to get on the forums very often around the last week before the exams, owing to the fact I have to study. Don't let the forums die while I'm gone!

Second season is confirmed, although the character designer and animators are going to be different.
It's old news now, but at the very least we can maybe get some discussion going on, this forum must be saved!

Even if it's a bit different in drawing-style, I bloody doubt that they'll quit the making of the Season 2. Or if they do, Hor/lo will rip their heads off ^-^'

There's only zhis :
A second season of the anime has been confirmed for production and will be titled Spice and Wolf II. Most of the staff from the first season will return, except for Toshimitsu Kobayashi replacing Kazuya Kuroda as the character designer and chief animation director, and Spice and Wolf II will be animated by Brain's Base instead of Imagin. The voice actors from the first season will retain their roles.

Postscriptum: By the way, does anyone from here knows japanese-language and Kanji ?
